Leewood Golf Club first opened for play in 1926. The course was designed by Devereaux Emmet.
Leewood Golf Club is a well-manicured parkland style course with tree-lined wide open fairways. The undulating greens are average speed, and water hazards (two large lakes and several streams) come into play on a number of holes.
Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,184 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,590 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 5, a par-5 that plays to 503 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 114 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 503 yard par-5 challenge and the #2 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Leewood Golf Club is # 11, a 114 yard par-3.

Private course - there for an outing. 80% of the holes are terrific, rest are average. Course was in great condition, however, and the club house and staff were exceptional.

Back nine was completely redone for 2012 season. The more you play it, the more you love it.
